Shipping Container
For the last decade, China has been the largest producer for shipping containers, accounting for 95% of the global production. Shipping containers can be categorized to dry van containers, reefer container and other special containers.
Dry Van Container:
On average, China produces 3 million TEU of dry van containers. Since 2017, the industry has switched from using traditional solvent based coatings to water based coating for environmental reason, MEGA P&C is ranked top 4 for many years in the industry.
Reefer Container:
Since the transition to water based coatings in 2017, MEGA P&C is dedicated to developing the Water Based PU coatings solution for the reefer container. We have accumulated a lot of successful cases of this new technology and is regarded as the leading innovator for Water Based PU solution.
Special Container:
35 Tons Open Top Container: Suitable for bulk cargo, such as coal, coking coal and iron ore; hence, MEGA P&C coating film of the interior system is with good resistance to the abrasion or impact and FDA approved.One of our main projects is providing service to the China Railway to adapt to the rapid development of rail freight transport due to "Belt and Road".
Chemical Resistant Container: Suitable for loading solid or liquid corrosive chemicals in bulk, such as sulphur and fertilizer, etc.Our coating system performs strong resistant to such chemicals.
Sea Container: Suitable for corrosive salt-fog environments. MEGA P&C specific products perform excellent after years under exposure to the environment such as coastal area and offshore drilling rig.
45'HC Container: European Railway Container built with the steel panel of special high strength and diminutive corrugation creating challenges in coating application and appearance.
